Now-Jan. 1: Weaver Christmas Lights in West Harrison. A Christmas light display that started December, 1966 with one strand of Christmas lights and now surpasses 100,000. They will be on every night between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Eve from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Location: 2006 Snow Hill Road in West Harrison.
20-21-22: Experience a favorite Christmas tradition at the annual Metamora Christmas Walk! See lanterns lining the canal, luminaries lighting the pathways and holiday decorations throughout the entire village. Sing along with the strolling carolers, visit Santa in the Santa House for a memorable photo, and hop on a horse-drawn carriage ride. Bring your gift list as plenty of shopping opportunities will be available in many of Metamora’s unique shops, including Whitewater Canal State Historic Site’s gift shop offering site merchandise, freshly ground cornmeal, grits and bran. This FREE event is sponsored by the Merchants Association of Metamora.
22: Breakfast with Santa at Laurel Volunteer Fire Department. Breakfast is from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. or until we run out. Santa will arrive at 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Free Will Donation. Come have a FREE breakfast of biscuits and gravy, eggs, bacon and hash browns with coffee, juice and water. Located at 101 E Pearl Street, Laurel.

1: Walk/Bike Off the Holidays 2025. Kick off 2025 with friends and family at our Walk/Bike Off the Holiday Event! Join us at 1 p.m. at Third Place in Metamora. Take a stroll or ride along the Whitewater Canal Trail. Dress for the weather and see you there!
